Our family is proud to continue the long tradition of the restaurant in Topol (Katarina nad Ljubljano). The year chiselled into the stone above the door to the old restaurant, 1866, speaks of its many years of existence. Since 1980, this tradition is upheld by Anton, member of the third generation of Dobnikar Antons. With his wife Mira and sons Toni and Rok, Tone expanded the restaurant and set high culinary standards. The younger Toni recently took over management of the restaurant, continuing on the set path with new ideas and approaches to combine tradition and modern approaches in the restaurant business.

All members of the family are devoted to the restaurant. Tone is the head of the entire restaurant, with the roll passing to his son Toni, who is together with Mira the main driving force in the kitchen. The final touch in the kitchen is Mojca with her new and fresh ideas for homemade desserts. Toni is not only an excellent chef, but also a level 1 sommelier.

In the restaurant, the man in charge is Rok, who takes care of service and well-being of guests as one of the new generation of successful bartenders of Slovenia. He is a member of the Slovenian Bartenders Association. He participates in various competition in mixing cocktails, both in Slovenia and abroad, earning quite a few achievements, such as 2006 National Champion, 2009 National Champion, sixth place at the 2006 World Championship in Greece, winner of 2007 Argonaut Days, World Championship in mixing alcohol-free cocktails in Prague in 2014, 2017 National Champion in mixing alcohol-free drinks. Per your request, Rok prepares cocktails of all possible colours and flavours.
